The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS) has held its 2nd White Coat ceremony to mark the transition of 99 Pharmacy students into the clinical stage of their training. The White Coat ceremony is an integral part of Pharmacy education, emphasising the significance of the coat as the professional identity of Pharmacists and establishing defined expectations and responsibilities for students while still in training.

The donation, consisting of HP desktop computers, UPS systems, and Lenovo all-in-one computers, is aimed at supporting teaching and learning.

The benevolent gesture was extended to the School by a US-based Philanthropist, Prof. Nelson Kofie, and the Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Cape Coast, Dr. Elijah Yin.
The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences organised an Orientation Programme for National Service Personnel posted to the School on Monday, 13th November, 2023. Speaking at the programme, the Dean of the School, Prof Elvis Ofori Ameyaw stated that the programme was organised to ensure that the Personnel gain a clear understanding of their roles and responsibilities during the service period thereby contributing to a sense of purpose and direction.
