School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Receives Computer Donation from M-Plaza Ghana
The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has received a donation of advanced computer equipment from Mariset Company Limited here in Ghana, also known as M-Plaza. The donation, consisting of HP desktop computers, UPS systems, and Lenovo all-in-one computers, is aimed at supporting teaching and learning.
During the presentation, Ms. Evalove Mensah, Sales and Marketing Assistant at M-Plaza, highlighted that this contribution is part of the company's Corporate Social Responsibility to promote education in Ghana.
Professor Martins Ekor, Provost of the College of Health and Allied Sciences, expressed gratitude for the donation, emphasizing its impact on improving teaching and operations at the School of Pharmacy. He further calls on other organizations to offer similar support.
Professor Elvis Ofori Ameyaw, Dean of the School, assured that the equipment would be well utilized and properly maintained, enhancing the school's administrative functions, technical and academic capacity.
