Dean's Welcome

A message from the Dean

Welcome to the School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Cape Coast — Ghana's premier school of pharmacy. The School was established in August 2018 to train students to obtain the Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) and to expand the healthcare delivery team of professionals in Ghana and beyond.

We are strategically positioned within the University of Cape Coast for the academic and professional development of not only professional pharmacists, but the capacity building of future generations of academics and scholars in the field of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. Think of us as the bridge between science and society — committed to the communities we serve across Ghana and the world.

Professor Ernest Obese is a registered pharmacist affiliated with PSGH, SONA, CoBReG, FIP, IASP and the Society for Medicinal Plant and Natural Product Research.
