SoPPS Hosts Student/Staff Consultative Meeting
The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS), University of Cape Coast successfully held its Student/Staff Consultative Meeting on Friday, 30th January, 2026, at Auditorium 900.
The meeting was attended by Professor Ernest Obese (Dean), the Vice Dean, Mrs Esther Nimo (Faculty Officer), Faculty members, administrative staff and students from level 100 and above, highlighting the collective commitment of leadership and staff to the academic growth and welfare of students.
In his welcome remarks, the Dean encouraged both students and staff to express their views freely and without fear, fostering an atmosphere of openness, respect, and constructive dialogue. He emphasized that regular consultation between management and students remains essential to strengthening academic standards and enhancing institutional development.
The consultative session provided a valuable platform to deliberate on academic, administrative, and student welfare matters. Participants engaged in meaningful discussions aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes, addressing concerns, and promoting shared responsibility within the School community.
