The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Cape Coast celebrates Pharm. Mrs. Mary-Ann Archer for her remarkable contribution to pharmaceutical science and innovation. Her leadership in advancing herbal medicine research and developing novel drug delivery systems continues to position Ghana at the forefront of pharmaceutical excellence in West Africa.

As a Senior Lecturer and Fellow of the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists, she has championed groundbreaking work most notably in the reformulation of NPK capsules and the development of immunim and Ampofote. These products, now commercially produced by the Centre for Plant Medicine Research, highlight her commitment to transforming indigenous knowledge into scientifically validated therapies.
