SCHOOL OF PHARMACY AND PHARMACEUTICAL SCIENCES HOLDS NSS ORIENTATION FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held its National Service Scheme (NSS) Orientation programme for the 2025/2026 academic year on Tuesday, 18th November 2025, at the Elizabeth Adabor Conference Room, UCC. The session brought together all personnel assigned to the School for the year.

In his welcome address, the Dean, Prof. Ernest Obese, encouraged the personnel to approach their service with professionalism, dedication, and a commitment to supporting academic and administrative excellence within the School. Heads of Department also shared brief overviews of their units and highlighted the roles NSS personnel will play during the service period.

The Vice Dean, Dr. Isaac Tabiri Henneh, provided guidance on dress code expectations and the need for a professional appearance. Dr. Jonathan Asante followed with advice on general conduct, emphasizing discipline, punctuality, and adherence to institutional procedures. Faculty and staff present also offered guidance and encouragement, urging the NSS personnel to give their best during the service year.

The personnel pledged to support the academic and administrative work of the School. The programme was moderated by the Faculty Officer, Mrs. Esther Bema Nimo.
