On the 14^th of June 2023, the Pharmacy Council Ghana paid a visit to the School of Pharmacy at the University of Cape Coast for re-accreditation. The meeting was held at SoPPS conference room. The team consist of the following dignitaries;

• Prof. Joseph R. Ofosu (External Observer, USA)
• Dr. Audu Rauf (Registrar, Pharmacy Council Ghana)
• Mrs. Cynthia Yeboah Mintah (Head, Education Training & Research, Pharmacy Council Ghana)
• Pharm. Benjamin K. Botwe (BB Associates, IPP, PSGH)
• Pharm. Ishmael Damoah-Aferi (Central Regional Manager, Pharmacy Council Ghana)

The receiving team from the School of Pharmacy UCC also comprises of the following staff;

• Prof. Martins Ekor (Provost, CoHAS-UCC)
• Prof. Elvis Ofori Ameyaw (Dean)
• Dr. Robert Peter Biney (Vice-Dean)
• Dr. Ernest Obese (HOD, Senior Lecturer)
• Dr. Esther Oppong (HOD, Lecturer)
• Dr. Kwesi Prah Thomford (Lecturer)
• Dr. Jonathan Asante (Lecturer)
• Dr. Daniel Anokwah (Lecturer)

The team from the council also inspected SoPPS laboratories, lecture rooms, lab-equipments and interacted with some of the Pharm-D students. The visitation ended successfully with a vote of thanks and a group photograph.
