CoHAS is a three-tier college consisting of five schools; Nursing and Midwifery, Medical Sciences, Allied Health Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Optometry and Vision Science. Each schools with several academic departments. The college is responsible for developing and administering programmes related to the education of healthcare professionals. The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held a day workshop for its preceptors on the 1st of July, 2021 at CoDE Seminar room 2. Lecturers, some SoPPS staffs and participants from different health sectors were present. The workshop was chaired by the Dean of SoPPS (Prof Elvis Ameyaw).

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SoPPS), University of Cape Coast facilitated an educative and social interaction between members of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana (PSGH), Central Regional branch

Dean’s award held on the 15th March, 2021. The Dean (Prof Elvis Ameyaw) emphasised that the award was to motivate students to work hard and to take their academic work seriously. The Deans award had the following categories:

The School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences held its second staff/students consultative meeting on the 15th March, 2021 at the College of Distance Education (CoDE) Conference Room. The Dean, Prof. Elvis Ameyaw in his address told students to feel free to share their challenges either with their academic programmes or any other problem they are encountering on campus.
